Terms & Cancellation Policy


March Through History – Guided Tour Terms & Conditions

 

1. Booking Terms


* A deposit is required to reserve your spot on the tour. Final payment is due no later than 15 days prior to departure unless otherwise noted.
* Bookings are confirmed via email upon receipt of payment.
* You must be 18 years or older to book. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

 

2. Inclusions & Exclusions


Included:


* Lodging as listed in the itinerary
* Transportation during the tour
* Admission fees INCLUDED for historical sites and museums
* Guided tours led by experts
* Select meals as indicated on the itinerary


Not Included:


* Airfare to and from the tour start location
* Personal expenses (souvenirs, extra meals, tips, etc.)
* Travel insurance (strongly recommended)

 

3. Cancellation Policy


If you cancel your tour for any reason:


* 90+ days before departure: Full refund minus 5% admin fee
* 31–89 days before departure: Refund of all funds minus deposit
* 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund
* 0–30 days before departure: No refund


If we cancel the tour due to low enrollment, emergencies, or other unforeseen reasons:


* You will receive a full refund of all payments made to March Through History.
* We are not responsible for any third-party costs (flights, insurance, etc.).

 

4. Changes to the Itinerary


We reserve the right to make adjustments due to weather, closures, or unforeseen circumstances. Any changes will be communicated as early as possible and will not materially reduce the quality of the tour.

 

5. Health & Liability


Participants should be in reasonable physical condition for walking tours. Notify us of any health issues prior to booking.
March Through History and its affiliates are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, or damage during the tour. Travel insurance is highly recommended and may be required for certain itineraries.

 

6. COVID-19 & Public Health


All participants must comply with any local or federal health guidelines in effect during the tour. Refunds will not be issued for refusal to comply with mask or vaccination policies, where applicable.

 

7. Travel Insurance


We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that includes trip cancellation, interruption, and emergency medical coverage.

 

8. Group Size & Minimums


Each tour has a minimum number of participants. If the minimum is not met, you will be notified at least 15 days before the tour with options for refund, rescheduling, or credit.  This is highly unlikely due to high demand, and if we are short, we will bring on staff/students as a learning experience
